The Gofre Skirt features an elegant A-line silhouette, fitted at the waist and high hips with a voluminous hem. A row of pintucks adds texture and customisable detail—you can press them in different directions and topstitch. The pattern allows for flexibility in length, from mini to maxi, with various hem finishes possible. Some sizes and long lengths might require cutting on the cross grain.
To reduce paper waste, this pattern requires minimal printing and taping. You can extend the pattern length as instructed on paper or trace directly onto the fabric. Projector files are available for the knee-length version, based on which fabric usage is calculated.
Sample Details:
Beige Linen (View II): Made from medium-weight linen, this version is 70cm (27.5 inches) long from the waist (10cm / 4 inches longer than the knee-length option). The pintucks are pressed through the center, with hand topstitching applied, and the hem is finished with grosgrain tape.
Black Wool (View I): Measuring 85cm (33.5 inches) long, this sample features pintucks pressed to the right side in the front and towards the center back in the rear. Machine topstitching accents the tucks, and the hem is finished with a facing.
