Suri Skirt PDF Sewing Pattern
Suri Skirt PDF Sewing Pattern
Why sew boring skirts when you can create a statement piece?
Variation A features a diagonal split that elegantly cascades to the left, creating a mesmerizing asymmetric hem that gracefully moves as you walk. On the other hand, Variation B is a versatile A-line skirt, providing a canvas for creative ideas, easily adjustable in length. This variation can also serve as a lining pattern for both skirts.
This pattern is available in Regular size range.
Fabric Recommendation: Craft these skirts with medium drapey woven fabrics like satin, crepe, and suiting. Variation B can handle heavier fabrics, with options including viscose, cotton, linen, polyester, or wool. Choose lighter interfacing for the hem and a heavier option for the waistband.
Skill Level: Intermediate. This pattern requires general cutting and sewing knowledge, including inserting a zipper. The step-by-step instructions, accompanied by clear diagrams, and a video tutorial make the process accessible.
Measurements and Seam Allowances: Enjoy precision with measurements provided in both Metric and Imperial systems. Seam allowances are consistently 1cm (3/8") unless specified otherwise for specific seams or hems.
